MOUNT Agung trekking to the lower summit is one of the shortest climbs you can take to climb Mount Agung to reach the top, you Will climb start from 1400 m above sea level go to top of 2918meters above sea level,,if you are in first hiker or not in good experience about mountain,I would like to higly to recommended you to take this option,bicause this option Will be take 8 hours up and down and need 1.500meter climb to get the top and could be 9KM more less up and down the distance.the beauty at the top of the peak is almost the same as the beauty at the top of the summit we can see the crater and see the sunrise,mt rinjani in lombok mount Abang,mount Bromo,mount Semeru in Java, but only the height is about 200m shorter than summit, but go to the top of the lower top the path is also a little difficult and you have to climb a little on the rocks but not as difficult like going to the reall summit.this peak is the most popular bicause more of them have reached this peak.
MT.AGUNG LOWER SUMMIT INTENERY:
- 23.00pm : Pick up from your hotel (Pick up time depends on where you are staying in Bali, an air-conditioned car will drive you directly to pasar agung starting point
- 00.30 pm: Arrive at pasar agung Trekking Registration office
- 00.30 – 01:00 am Coffee Break before starting the hike
- 01.15am come to the office to registration and start the climb to the top of Mount Agung will be accompanied by an experienced Local Guide.
- 03:30am arrive on half way of mt agung camp place at 2.300m above sea level get rest time , drinking water and eat some food for energy to continue the hike to the summit
- 05.30 am – arrive at lower summit 2.918M
- 05.30am – the guide Strat to prepare your breakfast ,the menu is coffe/tea ,bread ,fried banana and some snack and enjoying the view waiting for sunrise.
- 06:00 am Enjoy the sweet sunrise with views of Mount Batur, and Mount Rinjani in Lombok island
- 07.00 am preparing your self ready to get down from the summit after show all the views on the summit
- 10.30 am arrive at pasar agung starting point and driver already waiting
- 10.45 am driver ready to drive you back to hotel or your homestay where you stay
- 13.00 pm arrive at hotel / homestay
